The Weekly Standard magazine is a great place for the general public to find news information. It plainly details what is happening in the headlines across the country, relaying the news in an easy to understand way. It is written with a bit of a conservative bent politically, and so readers who are more liberal in nature may find themselves wrinkling their nose at some of the opinion pieces, and some of the major topics of focus. Each issue discusses what is happening in the political arena currently, and oftentimes is one of the first places you will find the honest calling for change that is sometimes so needed by the administration. The Weekly Standard magazine also reports on other issues that are affecting our country, and the world, reporting on current trends and recent events. There is also a small amount of coverage given to the film industry, and current literature, reviewing different books and movies. By and far, however, one of the greatest things about The Weekly Standard magazine is that it is written with the intent of making its readers think. This is done through investigative reports, opinion pieces, and additional commentary, as well as standard articles written on breaking news. |
