EDITORIAL REVIEW OF WORLD MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION

As a Christian news magazine World magazine strives to report on everything that is making news headlines around the world, and at the same time connecting God and faith into it all. This makes for interesting reads. For example, one article may show how Christians in the general population feel about a certain political candidate. Other articles feature people who profess faith in God, and the struggles that they are facing. The news is always dead-on, and very informative. The human interest feel that discussing faith creates causes many who are of different religious denominations to enjoy reading World magazine. In a time where the news is almost always bad, adding a little bit of hope through God and through faith seems like a pretty good idea.

The regular columns in World magazine feature news snippets, including sports highlights, and submissions from readers. The goal of this publication is to report, not to preach, although it most definitely carries a central theme of faith in God and in Jesus. Also regularly reported on are different cultural trends, such as the latest in CDs and books. These reviews are often of Christian publications and Christian music. The international and national news coverage is top of the line, drawing faith into it all.

World Magazine gives a perspective that cannot be found elsewhere such as in Time or Newsweek. Although it covers the same news making stories it does so from a Christian perspective and worldview which cannot be found elsewhere.
