I wonder whether this mag has begun to lose the plot. Seems in recent times the subjects have started to stray from the original scope - no longer is it about far flung places and people. And where are the great wall maps? Maybe it's a sign of the times - we are so globalized maybe there's nothing left to write about.

I've learned heaps from National Geographic, it takes me all over the world to so many places, events, cultures and people - many of which I have never heard of before!
The photographs are stunning. And there are maps of all sorts: countries, physical features, the planets and the moon ....
I keep my mags for later reference - and you never know, in years to come the kids might find them useful for school projects. This is a really educational magazine.
