Military History magazine spans centuries and countries, bringing you interesting accounts from throughout history. Each issue features four or five main stories that will be on different battles, wars or other topics of historical and military significance. These articles are generally very well written, well edited and accurate. They provide educational information, and at the same time grab the attention of the reader and entertain. Interestingly enough, Military History magazine plays no favoritism to a specific country or time period. This perhaps adds to the magazine’s appeal, as it simply strives to provide readers with interesting historical stories. In each issue there are a number of regular columns that glue the content together. One regular column features different personalities in military history, giving readers a brief profile on who they were and what they did. Weaponry is also a topic of focus, highlighting well known and lesser known weapons that span from early BCE to late CE. There are also several reviews from readers on different books, movies and computer games that are related to military history. Military History magazine also features shorter stories in each issue on unique and interesting topics related to the magazine’s theme, as well as gives insight into little known battles from different periods. |
